This package entitles four (4) people to a three-night stay at Ted Turner’s historic Sierra Grande in Truth or Consequences, NM. Sierra Grande is known for its unparalleled combination of delightful accommodations, rustic charm, and renowned spa, featuring mineral-rich hot springs waters, unique to the area. Under Ted Turner Reserves, Sierra Grande also serves as the launch point to explore Ted Turner’s two spectacular nearby properties, Ladder and the Armendaris, both located within a half-hour drive of Truth or Consequences. Together, those properties comprise approximately 520,000 acres (approaching the size of Rhode Island).
As part of this package, you will have the opportunity to participate in two half-day adventure tours (for four people) on either/both Armendaris and/or Ladder:
On Armendaris, tours cover portions of this vast 362,885-acre property located along the Rio Grande. The magnificent Fra Cristobal Mountain range, exclusively located on the Armendaris, is home to a successfully reintroduced and subsequently delisted desert bighorn sheep population. Big game species on the ranch include bison, pronghorn antelope, desert mule deer, mountain lion, javelina, and oryx.
Ladder is a tremendous 156,439-acre property that is home to an incredibly diverse population of wildlife with a breathtaking mix of ecosystems, ranging from desert grasslands to pine forests in the foothills of the Black Range (Gila Mountains).
The package includes:
Accommodations in the Casita, a two-bedroom luxury house with its own courtyard and private hot spring tubs, for three nights
(2) Five-hour adventure tours for four people (private, guided tours) on Ladder and/or Armendaris
