Call for Interns

Santa Fe International Film Festival screens the top films of each season from all over the globe. Become a part of the area's premiere film event.

SFiFF is accepting for Spring, Summer, and Fall interns. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely in the promotion, programming, and production of the film festival, in many positions.

Who Should Apply

  • Students passionate about the arts, particularly film

  • Students able to keep deadlines and handle tasks responsibly

  • Students who work well independently and as member of a team

  • Students who can commit 8-10 hours per week


    Internships are unpaid and university credit is possible.

Important Roles at SFiFF

Public Relations: Responsibilities include research and public relations, establishing relationships with various community organizations, legislators, universities, schools, and clubs for special events. Serve as liaison for actors, filmmakers, sponsors, industry, and guests of the festival. 

Production Assistant: Help with production of festival programming and events including filmmaker discussions, screenings, and after-parties. Coordinate with sites, vendors, and sponsors. Assist with daily operations.

Graphic/Web Design: Work under the supervision of Allie Salazar. Help update and maintain SFiFF's website santafe.film. Help to create flyers, posters, print ads and the catalogue for the festival.

Publicity Assistant: Help with public relations and promotions. Writing skills are a plus.

Tech Assistant: Projector Operation, DCP making, editing, digitizing. Experience in Premiere Pro and/or Photoshop is good, but we are willing to train.

Social Media Administrator: Work exclusively in new and social media, providing promotion, publicity and management of SFiFF's online presence.
