9 Feature Films and 1 Short that Played at SFiFF and You Can Stream Now on Netflix 

SFiFF is pleased to compile this list for your at-home viewing pleasure. It includes films that opened and closed the fest, narratives and documentaries, two foreign selections, and some more of our faves. We hope you watch them in good health.

Marriage Story directed by Noah Baumbach was the SFiFF Centerpiece film in 2019. Starring Adam Driver, and Scarlett Johansson and featuring Laura Dern in a titillating performance that earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress 

The Body Remembers When the World Broke Open directed by Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers and Kathleen Hepburn had it's local premiere at SFiFF 2019 as part of SFiFF's transcendental indigenous program created by Gary Farmer. Shot on 16mm and presented in “real time,” this is a one-of-a-kind exploration, screened at SFiFF 2019.

Burning was short-listed for an Academy Award and was South Korea's official submission to the Academy in 2018.

The Long Dumb Road was shot in New Mexico. The film stars stars Tony Revolori, Jason Mantzoukas, and Taissa Farmiga and was 2018 SFiFF’s Opening Night Film.

Hostiles starring Wes Studi and Christian Bale had its 2nd US screening at SFiFF in 2017. At the screening, George R. R. Martin presented Wes Studi with the SFiFF Visionary Award.

Indian Horse executive producer Clint Eastwood starring Forrest Goodluck, screened at SFiFF 2018.

Trespass Against Us starring Michael Fassbender and Brian Gleeson, was the SFiFF 2016 Opening Night Film.

KRISHA the first feature from Trey Edward Shults, which screened at SFiFF 2015.

I am Divine tells the story of how Divine, aka Harris Glenn Milstead, became John Waters' cinematic muse and an international drag icon.

Period. End of Sentence won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short in 2019 after showing at SFiFF 2018.
